Kung Fu Panda

Love love love this Dreamworks action comedy animation. It has martial arts, wit, and humor done in simple animation making this film adorable, something both kids and adults would enjoy.

Imagine a clumsy pudgy panda ending up as the penultimate kung fu dragon warrior… the drunken master of old times has reemerged to become the master with the eating disorder.

So if you got nothing better to do and have a couple of hours to spare, grab your favorite movie snack, sit back and enjoy some kung fu panda-monium.

Big 3 gets the 17th, sisig and other sporting events

After 20+ years, the Boston Celtics and their Big 3 won their 17th NBA title with a 39 point win, the biggest margin of victory in a championship (so I read).

To celebrate this exciting NBA finals… which I followed through via webcast, live blogs and heckling via office email… we braved the midday sun and trudged to the mall for some sisig and rice take out (P55 from sisig horay) and razon’s halo halo (p70)… YUMMY!

after the French Open, the US Golf Open, and the NBA… the next must see sporting event for me is Manny Pacquiao’s bout against David Diaz next weekend.

Game 6 NBA

the game just went on half time… it’s 58-35 in favor of Boston… been followin the game online… thank goodness for ESPN Gamecast… their updates are much faster than NBA.com.

i’m also reading live blogs on the game… it’s soo funny right now, some LA fans are thinking of switching off their TV sets…

let’s see if LA can make a better 2nd half performance…

NBA Christmas in June

Yey! It’s Lakers vs. Celtics! Dubbed as the Dream NBA Finals…after 21 years… they meet again for the 11th time! Like the good old days, as some would say. The NBA website says this is the first time since 1998 that the Finals won’t feature a Shaquille O’Neal or a Tim Duncan. Stay tuned…
